Supporting You: Supporting Others Series

Each of the books in this series covers the four core units of the particular award. The knowledge specification for each of the core units is discussed providing the candidate with the information they need to evidence the unit. The importance of upholding social care values such as respect, individuality, empowerment and diversity is emphasised. The skills that each worker should employ are described enabling the reader to put into context the reasons why they are asked to work in certain ways. These books do just what they say on the cover – they support candidates for particular SVQ or NVQs to support others in their work. There are four books in this series:
